The AG-AF100 is a full HD 1080/720
production camera that offers superior video handling, native 1080/24p recording, variable
frame rates, professional audio capabilities, and compatibility with SDHC and SDXC media.
The AF100 delivers the shallow depth of field and wider field of view of a large imager,
with the flexibility and cost advantages of a handheld camcorder. The AF100 is the
next-generation, go-to HD camera that costs less, yet delivers so much more than other
models in its class. The design of the AF100's 4/3-inch sensor affords depth of field and
field of view similar to that of 35mm movie cameras and also affords the full range of
cinematic requisites. Equipped with an interchangeable lens micro 4/3" mount, the AF100
has the ability to use virtually any professional quality lens with the addition of an
easily obtainable adapter, from low-cost still camera lenses as well as film-style lenses
with fixed focal lengths, prime lenses, and zoom lenses. It's equipped with the full range
of controls a cinematographer relies on: exposure, adjustable zebras, pedestal and detail,
a vectorscope and waveform monitor, and much more.
The AG-HPX250 is Panasonic's first P2 HD
handheld camcorder with master-quality 10-bit, 4:2:2 independent-frame, 1920 x 1080
resolution AVC-Intra 100 recording. This lightweight, ergonomic-designed camcorder
incorporates high-sensitivity 1/3", full-HD 2.2 megapixel 3-MOS imagers and a 20-bit
Digital Signal Processor to capture stunning high resolution images.
The HPX250 includes professional features, like genlock, timecode, HD-SDI and HDMI
input/outputs for multi-camera operation and monitoring, as well as a color viewfinder.
The powerful hand-held is equipped with a 22x wide zoom (28mm to 616mm) HD lens with 3
independent adjustable rings (Zoom/Focus/Iris). The 22x lens also features an Optical
Image Stabilizer (O.I.S.) function that ensures stable images during hand-held shooting.
The AG-HVX200A offers all the
invaluable features of the popular AG-HVX200 and adds a higher-resolution 3-CCD imager and
improved image performance. The HVX200A is equipped with a 1/3" 16:9 progressive 3-CCD
imager (effective resolution of 1.1 million active pixels with a spatial offset) that
delivers outstanding image quality. It offers lower smear and a higher S/N ratio that
results in lower noise and better low light performance than the prior model. The
HVX200A's image quality is also enhanced by a new high-performance digital signal
processor (DSP) featuring 14-bit A/D conversion and 19-bit inner processing. Equivalent to
the processors used in many higher-end HD cameras, this new DSP ensures precise, beautiful
recordings in all video formats. Because the HVX200A scans at native 1080P for the initial
picture processing, users get the highest level of vertical resolution, whether shooting
in HD or SD.
The Panasonic AJ-HDX900 is a native 16:9, 2/3” HD,
1-million pixel 3-CCD system that assures stunning images and produces a high sensitivity
of F10 (at 2000 lux) and outstanding low-light shooting down to 0.032 lux (at+62 dB gain).
It is equipped with 14-bit A/D DSP circuits that provide optimum picture quality, color
reproduction and luminance gradation. Utilizing the advanced DVCPRO HD codec, the
AJ-HDX900 offers superior 4:2:2 color sampling and independent frame compression. The
well-balanced camcorder offers impressive built-in, image-enhancing features including
three Cine-like gamma modes to replicate the look and feel of film.
The Sony DSR-500WS (compare to
DSR-450WS/DSR-570WS) is a full-size, 60i broadcast SD DVCAM. The DSR-500WS has a
switchable aspect ratio, exceptional performance level and technical benefits, such as
three two-thirds inch 16:9 Power HAD CCDs, full DSP processing, and dual (mini and
standard) cassette size capability. 100GB Firestore external hard drive for external
recording.
